Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) revealed the schedule of the fourth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL), giving Karachi five matches and Lahore three. A total of 34 matches will be played in the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan.
Out of thirty-four, eight matches will be played in Pakistan while UAE will get to host twenty-six matches. After the completion of UAE leg, PSL will move to Pakistan. For the very first time, Abu Dhabi will host PSL matches. This new venue will host four matches on 4th and 5th March.
PSL 2019 will commence from February 14th in UAE and conclude on March 17th in Karachi.
Dubai will inaugurate the league on February 14th with a glittering opening ceremony followed by defending champions Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars clash. Dubai will host fourteen matches while Sharjah to get eight matches.
Lahore will hold three matches on 9th, 10th and 12th. Lahore fans will get to see their team playing at their home ground against Islamabad United and Sixth team on 9th and 10th respectively. On 12th, Eliminator 1 between Team 3 and Team 4 will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. All the Lahore matches are to be played under floodlights.
PSL will come to the home on March 7th with the match between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi at the National Stadium Karachi. Five matches of Karachi leg to be played on 7th, 10th, 13th, 15th and 17th. Karachi Kings will play their second home match on 10th against Quetta Gladiators during the daytime.
On 13th and 15th, Qualifier between Team 1 and Team and Eliminator 2 between the winner of Eliminator 1 and runner-up of Qualifier will be played respectively.
Karachi’s historic National Stadium will once again stage the lit-up final on March 17th.
