Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule for Pakistan Super League (PSL) 4th edition. PSL 5 will be started from February 14, 2020, to March 17, 2020. PSL 2020 schedule is provided below.
This time around PSL league will be played at 05 different venues of United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Pakistan. A total number of 34 matches will be played. The NEW thing in this event is ’08 matches’ to be played in Pakistan at Lahore and Karachi venues. And the schedule of Lahore and Karachi matches is provided below.

National Stadium (Karachi) will host 05 matches on March 7, 2020, where Karachi Kings (KK) will take on Peshawar Zalmi (PZ) followed by 04 more matches. It includes the next matches between Karachi Kings (KK) and Quetta Gladiators (QG) on 10th March 2020, Qualifier between Team 01 vs Team 02 on 13th March 2019, Eliminator 02 on 15th March 2019 and The FINAL on 17th March 2019.

PSL 2019 final was played in Karachi and the way Lahoris responded to PSL coming home, it made clear that how badly people of Pakistan need cricket at home. Latest News & Updates on PSL 2020
The PSL auction 2020 season took place on 20th November this year. Same like previous years, players were characterized in five groups including Diamond, Silver, Platinum, Gold, and Emerging.
Initially, teams were to retain maximum 9 players and then pick the remaining from above-mentioned pools.
Players making debut this PSL
PSL family is going to welcome 19 newcomers in the fourth edition of PSL. South African Mr 360 AB de Villiers and Zimbabwean Brendan Taylor will make debut for Qalandars while Australian Steve Smith will represent the Sixth team in the upcoming edition of PSL.
Fawad Ahmed, Qais Ahmed, Corey Anderson, Ian Bell, Dan Christian, Ben Dunk, Laurie Evans, Harry Gurney, Liam Livingstone, Wayne Madsen, Tom Moores, Sandeep Lamichanne, Wayne Parnell, Sikander Raza, Waqar Salamkheil and Phil Salt are among the 19 players making debut next year.
With every passing year, PSL is getting bigger and better and it is justified to say that the next year of PSL is going to be much better with the addition of some magnificent players from cricketing world.
International players coming to Pakistan
The previous year, Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United brought its entire team to play in Pakistan. This year again franchises have picked those players who are willing to travel to Pakistan. In the past two years, Quetta suffered badly as their star players did not travel to Pakistan. But this time their two-star players from West Indies have agreed to come to Pakistan.
West Indian all-rounder DJ Bravo in a video message confirmed that he will come to Pakistan. He is quite excited to visit Pakistan after 12 years. Other than him, the new entrant in Quetta family, Sunil Narine will also travel to Pakistan.
Islamabad United’s Ian Bell in his first PSL season has already agreed to come to Pakistan. In an interview given to a local journalist, Bell confirmed his coming to Pakistan and is excited to be back in Pakistan as he loves batting tracks here.
Karachi Kings’ owner Salman Iqbal have confirmed that his power hitter Colin Munro from New Zealand will come to Pakistan for PSL 4. It is surely a good news coming out of Karachi’s camp as the team will get to play two matches at their home ground in Karachi.
Lahore Qalandars management is also convincing their star player AB to come to Pakistan. The franchise is hopeful that their key player will visit Pakistan and will play in front of their home crowd.
International players in PSL
PSL 2020 will see players from all across the globe. Cricketers from seven different countries including England, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, west indies, Afghanistan and Nepal will be seen in action this PSL.
Venues in Pakistan
Initially, Rawalpindi was also under consideration as the third venue for PSL 4 but the Board agreed to stick to only Karachi and Lahore. for this purpose, Karachi’s National Stadium is under renovation process.
To host the final of PSL 2020, National Stadium went under quick and temporary renovation but this time proper renovation is underway. The renovation is now in its final and second phase where roofs are being imported.
